Gifts to the Garden

Each donation brings us closer to our goal of creating a botanical garden on the Sunshine Coast and we thank all our donors for their generosity. SCBGS is a regisitered charity authorized to issue official tax receipts for every dollar donated.

Donor opportunities

‘Seed money’ and ‘in-kind’ donations are essential in the work to establish the garden. Your contribution will assist the Society to:

• acquire suitable land
• design and construct gardens, buildings, works yard and parking areas
• create a collection of native, rare and unique plants
• enhance and expand education programs for students of all ages, pre-school to seniors

Deferred or Planned Gifts

You can make a lasting gift to the Sunshine Coast Botanical Garden Society. Planning a gift to the Society using: bequests by will, gifts in kind, gifts of property (land etc.), life insurance policies, annuities, residual interests and charitable remainder trusts, enable you to maximize your tax benefits. Your accountant, lawyer or financial planner can give you information and advice on how to best make these gifts work for you.
