GroundWork Project
With great excitement we're seeing the beginning stages of the GroundWork project on the site.
We'll keep posting news and photos over the next months, so you might want to make a habit of dropping by this website to check it all out.
GroundWork Project Progress.
View more information concerning the grants, construction and mortgage.
The GroundWork project is well underway, and tremendous changes have already taken place at the Garden.
Outstanding view corridors have been opened up to both the ponds and the ravine in the back. These clearings have been done to offer attractive sight lines while maintaining bird and other wildlife habitat.
The chipper has been back on site, and a lot of the smaller brush has been reduced to usable piles of chips. There are still more stacks to be chipped, and this will be ongoing as the project continues. The site for our new building has been chosen, leveled and prepared for construction to begin. Once the proper permits are received, the building construction will get underway. Some smaller trees that were within the footprint of the building site, or close to it, have been removed to a holding area. These will be replanted as construction allows.
As the construction process allows, we will offer tours as often as possible. The property is being transformed daily, be sure to check back often for reports on the progress. Click the GroundWork link to see the latest news.
